Redmond Regional Medical Center is proud announce the newest addition to our high quality surgical care services: robotic assisted surgery. The addition of this newest surgical option demonstrates our commitment as a regional leader in providing high-quality care to the communities we serve.
Robotic Assisted Joint Replacement Surgery
Currently, Redmond offers robotic-assisted surgery for total knee replacement. Surgeons use a robotic-assisted handpiece that relays precise information about your knee to the advanced computer system. This system works in conjunction with the surgeon’s skilled hands to achieve precise positioning of implants, based on the unique anatomy of each patient.
This advanced surgical technololgy is designed to enhance accuracy in placing implants and get you back to life as quickly as possible.
Advanced Technology. Quality Care. Close to Home.
Since 2008, Redmond Regional Medical Center has held special certification from The Joint Commission for excellence in Total Hip Replacement and Total Knee Replacement surgical procedures.
With the addition of our new robotic assisted surgery program, Redmond is re-defining surgical options for patients, close to home. In fact, in June 2019 Redmond became the first hospital in Georgia to use this newest CT-free robotic-assisted surgical procedure for total knee replacement.
