February is National Heart Month and to celebrate, Redmond Regional Medical Center and the Rome Area Council for the Arts (RACA) present the 5th annual Rome Community HeART Project. This year, the project features 14 large HeARTs and 4 HeART garlands that are displayed around Downtown Rome as well as at Redmond Regional Medical Center. Local artists and art students used their talents to create unique messages of heart health awareness on each of the HeARTs and HeART garland. Community members are encouraged to use the HeART map to engage in a heart healthy activity by taking a walking tour of downtown to see each of the HeARTs. Photos can be shared on social media with the hashtag #HeART2018 and using the HeART Project Snapchat geofilter.
