Redmond and RACA's Rome Community Art Project highlights the creativity of local artist while spreading a message of heart health awareness during National Heart Health Awareness month. Each piece in this public art display represents how the artists, groups, or students connected with the mission to convey a message of heart health. Art teachers had the opportunity to incorporate lessons around heart health with their students. Artists representing other groups and non-profit organizations creatively connected those groups to matters of the heart. For some artists, the connection to heart health was one of a personal journey or sharing a personal story.
