Outpatient Services
Outpatient Services is a multi-faceted unit of highly skilled, qualified professionals who offer a wide variety of services including pre- and post- surgical assessment and care, Gastrointestinal procedures (GI), Bronchoscopies, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE), minor surgical procedures, cardiovascular care (heart catheterization preparation, arteriogram/myelogram prep) and pain treatment (Lumbar/Cervical Epidurals, Nerve Blocks). The department consists of dedicated long term Registered Nurses that are certified in their area of specialty.
New Outpatient services include a Fast Track Congestive Heart Failure Unit (CHFC) which is managed by a Nurse Practitioner under the care of the patient's physician. Also, through the Outpatient Services department is an extended hours Outpatient discharge unit (ODU).
Each of our rooms are private rooms so that the families may stay with their loved one while awaiting the procedure. Refreshments are also available for family members while they wait. All units/rooms are set up in a home like setting with their own personal television.
