Caring Heart - Healing Hands
Cardiac Rehab is designed to improve the physical and emotional health of an individual after a heart attack, open heart surgery or valve replacement. It starts immediately at the bedside with a group of caring nurses and exercise physiologists who are trained to help you get moving again.
Upon discharge from the hospital, you are scheduled for orientation to begin Phase II or the Outpatient Program. Typically people come for 12 weeks to participate in the program. During that time, you are building your strength and endurance, learning to manage your heart rate and blood pressure, and regaining your life back.
At Redmond, experience counts: The Cardiac Rehab team is experienced and caring. They have been doing this specialized nursing care on average for greater than 10 years each. There is no one else to whom you would rather have your heart and health entrusted than the caring hands of the Cardiac Rehab staff.
