Committed to our Community
At Redmond, we’re dedicated to serving families right here in Floyd County and surrounding counties, while partnering with other community resources to keep you healthy. In addition to the American Cancer Society, we're proud to partner with Summit Quest, a local organization that supports families affected by cancer in Rome, GA. While doctors can care for your medical needs, these cancer support services can care for you mental and emotional needs.
Screening, Diagnosing, and Treating Lung Cancer
Redmond is committed to helping communities in Northwest Georgia detect and treat lung cancer early, and we are saving lives! We offer a Lung Screening Clinic to help you breathe easier, knowing you are cancer-free or by providing quick follow up for any lung findings. If you are current or past smoker and are high risk for lung cancer, a screening can save your life. If you have a lung nodule finding, Redmond is here for you. Our Lung Nodule Clinic physicians, along with our experienced Nurse Practitioner, will develop a plan of care in partnership with your primary care physician and guide you through the recommended follow-up. Our multidisciplinary efforts at Redmond, led by our thoracic radiologists, pulmonologists, pathologists, surgeons, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists, offer the most comprehensive and advanced lung services. Your physician care team will carefully determine if further testing is required, such as electromagnetic navigational bronchoscopy (ENB), endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), or other imaged guided biopsies.
